UnitedPsych (UP) was founded in 2021 by Dr. McCorkle and Dr. Cartwright with a mission to improve access to quality mental health care for long-term care residents across Texas. With over 43 years of combined experience in Long Term Care (LTC), our founders recognized the growing need for specialized full service mental health support in this unique setting.
Today, UnitedPsych provides mental health care to thousands of residents statewide, offering ongoing mental health services to a variety of Texas facilities. In just two years, our integrated services have expanded to reach over 100 facilities jointly, demonstrating our commitment to growth, collaboration, and better outcomes for residents, families, and care teams.
